File Preparation & Artwork Guidelines

At No1Perfect, we want every customer to receive the highest-quality DTF transfers possible. Following these artwork guidelines will help ensure your transfers print accurately, maintain vibrant colors, and produce professional results every time.

Please review the requirements below before uploading your files.

Artwork Submission Requirements

Recommended File Format

For the best print quality, we recommend:

✅ PNG (Preferred)

We also accept:

  • AI

  • EPS

  • SVG

  • PSD

  • JPG

  • TIFF

Resolution Requirements

All artwork should be:

  • 300 DPI Minimum

  • Uploaded at actual print size

  • High-resolution and print-ready

Low-resolution files may appear blurry, pixelated, or distorted when printed.

Color Profile

For the most accurate color reproduction:

✅ Use RGB Color Mode

RGB files typically produce the best color results during the DTF printing process.

Transparent Backgrounds

If you do not want a background printed:

✅ Save your file with a transparent background

PNG files are ideal for transparent artwork.

Files submitted with white backgrounds will print exactly as uploaded.

Artwork Size Requirements

Upload At Actual Print Size

Artwork should be created at the exact size you intend to print.

Examples:

  • 10" Wide Design = Upload at 10" Wide

  • 12" Wide Design = Upload at 12" Wide

  • 4" Logo = Upload at 4" Wide

This helps ensure accurate sizing during production.

Safe Margin Requirements

Leave approximately:

0.25" – 0.30" Margin

around all edges of your artwork.

This prevents important design elements from being placed too close to the printable area boundaries.

Vector Artwork Guidelines

Accepted vector formats:

  • AI

  • EPS

  • SVG

Before uploading:

✅ Convert all text to outlines

✅ Expand strokes and effects

✅ Minimum line thickness of 1pt

This helps avoid missing fonts and unexpected artwork changes.

Raster Artwork Guidelines

Accepted raster formats:

  • PNG

  • PSD

  • JPG

  • TIFF

Requirements:

✅ 300 DPI Resolution

✅ Transparent Background (when applicable)

✅ Sharp Edges

✅ No Excess Compression

Low-quality screenshots, social media images, and compressed graphics may not produce acceptable print results.

Gang Sheet Guidelines

What Is A Gang Sheet?

A gang sheet allows multiple designs, logos, names, and graphics to be combined onto one sheet.

This helps maximize printable space and reduce overall costs.

Gang Sheet Tips

✔ Arrange artwork efficiently

✔ Leave small spacing between designs

✔ Ensure all designs are properly sized

✔ Double-check artwork before uploading

✔ Maximize printable area whenever possible

Remember:

Any size sheet can become a gang sheet. Simply create it and upload it.

Fine Lines & Small Details

Very thin lines, tiny text, and small details may not transfer properly.

For best results:

  • Minimum line thickness: 1pt

  • Avoid extremely small text

  • Use bold fonts whenever possible

  • Increase detail size when necessary

Color Expectations

Our printers produce vibrant, high-quality transfers.

However:

  • Colors may vary slightly from screen to print

  • Monitor settings differ between devices

  • Printed colors may appear different on various garment colors

Minor color variation is considered normal.
